The concept for Ideafactories was born in a foggy, coastal town in California nearly a decade ago. Two lifelong friends with a shared vision of design built a small collective driven by imagination, passion, and humanity. That vision has since blossomed and Ideafactories has carved a corner in the design market reaching across the globe. Its designers hail from the States, California, Oregon, New York, Chicago and beyond. Drawing on the rich and unique experiences of these designers, Ideafactories has manufactured products with both a visceral and genuine feel.

But the Ideafactories vision doesn't end with its designers. Our vision is your vision, and we exist so that we can make your concept a reality. We work with you to cultivate YOUR vision so that it resonates with your audience. We create because we listen. Welcome to our studio.

We create because we listen. Life is substance.

Mike Schultz has been developing his artistic self for nearly 15 years. From creating art to writing code, Mike's philosophy on creativity is built on the discovery of new mediums and applications.

He has traveled to and lived in a great many places - studying and digesting the creative elements around him. Besides web design and animation, he has dabbled in architecture, creative writing, photography, sculpture, and urban street art.

With numerous web-sites developed, paintings sold, short stories published, small business/corporate identities created, the chances of finding Mike's work are pretty good.

During the day, Mike works in San Francisco as the lead web designer/developer at Singlebound Creative (.com).

At night you will most likely find him behind one of his machines designing, creating, or.... playing Unreal 2k4.
